Do your tastes in games change by day, week, or season?

My tastes don't really ever change, interestingly enough I can play the same game for years if there's enough stuff to do. ; )

Hello all, just got a new mx17 and loving evey moment of it. I would say i used to be that way too, I would switche games depending on seasons or time of day, but since sc2 came out its just been sc2 all the time. Best game ever.

The time of day for me. Rpgs and little fun games during the day. Then break out the FPS online multiplayer games (tf2, black ops, halo) for the evening.

I definitely tend to play different games depending on my mood. Sometimes I just want to sit back and play a casual game like Katamari with some friends, or maybe some custom multiplayer coming into the weekend. Other times I may want to stay up all night playing a horror game, or just trying to get farther in a single player campaign. Every once in a while I'll feel competitive and focus on bettering my self at a certain game (or even as a certain class/race/gametype within a games multiplayer)

I'm always an FPS gamer but my moods do change from time to time like you say. Depending on the time of day, I'll hop onto an FPS Air Sim game or something cartoonie like TF2 and for the good stuff, a BF or COD game. I do sometimes play some RTS and flash games if I'm just trying to kill time and know I will not get involved it past the time needed to kill.

I tend to prefer MMO's on weekdays with some good LoL, Zelda, and TF2 on weekends. I like to let my mind wonder after a long day of work, so MMO's are good for that, but I enjoy games that involve actual team work (LoL) or semi-puzzle games (Zelda) on weekends when I haven't exhausted my mental capacity for that day.

I play games that I feel like would be fun for me at that certain point in time. Sometimes I get bored or want to try something else or am in the mood for another type of game. I definitely play games depending on my mood, which change every day!

I like to play long RPG games that take a long time to complete or a nice RTS that takes a long time to complete a match but in the summer I play more FPS because the matches are short and you can just quit whenever to go do something else

My tastes change all the time, I'm playing what ever my friends play, from RTS, FPS, RPG basically all those fun stuff. Currently, SC2 has been getting a little boring though. So has TF2 :\

I got My Mx18 and i can't stop playing Terraria and F2P Games.

i just received an AW M17x too and ive been playing non-stop for the past 2 weeks xD anyways i dont normally have a change in like genres of games necessarily. i can play a mmorpg for months or years but after a while i get extremelyy bored. right now i ahve like 10 different games but i dont bother to play any cuz i just got bored lol

and also that monitor is freaking huge and amazing...i want one :]

my game mood use to change by the week, sometimes by the day, i would play all sorts of games... but lately I have been stuck in an rpg and rts phase, i cant get out of it either XD

My gaming mood changes depending on what I have been playing for the last few days. After a long RPG I like to play FPS or Action games and vice versa. But usually I can play any genre, since I like them all.

My tastes do not change I just add a larger selection of game types to the ones I usually play.

I do change games, but usualy they are all fps. Sometimes i do likee to play racing games but i think that is because i don't have to play new fps game at that time.

and yeah my gaming switches. I got into pc gaming through RPG's. then got into FPS's, then got into RTS, and now moba :d

I have always been into MMOs and RPGs I like a lot more story to my game than FPS point click kill.

Depends on the games for me, not on the time of day/week/moth. If a game is good such as some solo rpgs then it doesnt matter which tiem fo day it is i play them until i finished them.

Taste never change, however often the mood will change. Sometimes the amount of time available will dictate the mood. The taste will always remain FPS, RPG, ah heck anything with serious juice to get my Alienwares warmed up

I wouldn't say my gaming taste changes based on my mood, but my mood can definately change based on the game I'm playing lol.

I do tend to play RPGs a lot more during the winter though. I attribute this to the amount of time I spend indoors during winter vs summer though.
