IGN has posted what they believe to be the best 25 PC games "from more recent times."
Overall, I'd say the list does a competent job in highlighting the best the platform has had to offer over the last decade.
All the usually suspects are there: Fallout 3, Counter-Strike, Civilization. Recent favorites like League of Legends and Witcher 2 also make the list, and it even includes a game I missed: The Longest Journey (pictured).
Interestingly, World of Warcraft is no where to be found. Not that it should be there, but in terms of time spent playing, maybe it should. Nvmd, it's on there.
Unsurprisingly, Half-Life 2 takes the top spot. "Nothing draws you in like Half-Life 2," writes author Charles Onyett. "No other game on PC is so polished, well-paced and memorable. No game is this good at making you feel like a hero. If you can only play one PC game, make sure it's Half-Life 2."
What do you think of the list?
