Your consensus game of the year: The winner is...

Like I said last week, what a year it's been for video games. And I don't say that every year. Case in point, while last year was also good to games, 2009... not so much.
But I digress. After tallying the unscientific votes, here's how Alienware Arena readers — well, at least commenters — voted. Spoiler alert: It's overwhelmingly in favor of Elder Scrolls Skyrim:
- Elder Scrolls Skyrim - 38 votes
- Battlefield 3 - 10
- Portal 2 - 7
Perhaps most surprising was World of Tanks at number four with four total votes -- not far behind Portal 2. After that, Assasin's Creed Revelations, Modern Warfare 3, and Deus Ex: Human Evolution all tied for fifth place with two votes each. LA Noire, Crysis 2, Minecraft, League of Legends, Need for Speed: The Run, The Witcher 2, and "Too many games!" followed with one vote apeice.
Overall, I'd say you people have good test. But then again, you're the same group of people that only gave the wonderful Batman: Arkham City a single vote. You should be ashamed of yourselves!

well ihave tried both(and DotA ofc) but really, HoN is way better than both of them. Just because you had to pay for it in the beginning and you didnt buy it doesent mean that the free game (LoL) is better.

Haven't got a chance to play. Seen it firsthand. Game is huge, looks very immersive, graphics looks nice. Sounds like an amazing RPG. I guess the terrible thing about it is the bugs. That's what I gathered from most of the users here.
