The game, shown above, is innocuously called English Country Tune (demo here). But don't let the name fool you, it's "the hardest game to play right now," says New Yorker Magazine.
"In most of games, you can overcome the difficulty through a combination of practice and persistence," the magazine writes. "Not so in English Country Tune, which offers up an unusually abstract and mathematical kind of difficulty."
Because the game messes with gravity, and the premises doesn't resemble the real-world, you're basically screwed unless blessed with a highly analytical mind.
Instead of "fun," some might call it daunting at best, torture at worst. PC Gamer compares it to "an entrance exam for MIT." But that's the point, says one user review. "The sense of delight from solving what initially looks impossible, is immeasurable."
