Finding a free PC game you'll actually want to play is a chore, as titles are scattered across hundreds, if not thousands of websites. Game Downloader, a tiny PC client, hopes to change that.
The itty-bity program archives games from over a 100 websites and promises to update new entries regularly. Games can be scoured by categories — real-time strategy, action, shooter, arcade, etc — and you can view screens, YouTube videos, and download links from within the client.
The most notable downsides: the window can't be maximized, forcing you to scroll for more details. And in a move that would make the Google Gods wreck havoc on humanity, the client doesn't feature a search bar.
Other than that though, it's a great little utility to help you discover free PC games.
