Now available: Guild Wars 2 well received

some friends of mine have played it and they said its pretty good. so i guess i have to believe them cuz im never gonna play it lol

Well according to their Facebook and Twitter, they've been experience a huge amount of bugs and problems since the release so hopefully they'll have them fixed up soon.

Yeah I have been hearing of the same stuff. Hope it all goes over well.

I think its fun, a nice change of pace from all the other blockbuster games that have been coming out lately

This game gets you sucked into your enviroment. you actually want to help someone kill a monster because you both get the same amount of xp regardless of soloing the monster or not.

I love this game so far. A few bugs are to be expected and they did let a lot of people start three days early because they pre purchased (me!!) And completing a daily event with a bunch of other players participating is a blast, I love seeing the medal you get depending on how much you contributed to the event. This game is one I definitely recommend playing.

I've played an Asura Thief to lvl 32 so far, and the game is a lot of fun. There were a few bugs with some of the thief actions but those were fixed in the first couple days of the pre-order release. The auction house has been down the entire time however, which is a major inconvenience =/ The environment graphics are really nice though and I like the way you can customize your armor with different dyes. Leveling is pretty fun really, fighting mobs actually feels like a fight and getting hit only a couple times can kill you in some instances. Still looking forward to the first dungeon...

GW2 rocks, especially in 3D. The graphics are just wicked and the gameplay is awesome. A few bugs are to be expected in every game that comes out. compared to the fiasco people went through with Diablo III, the few bugs GW2 has had are minor.

i was looking forward to it in the beginning of this year but since the announcement of SWTOR going F2P this fall i will propably wait to see if SWTOR will be available in the next month then i will play it if not
then i will play guild wars 2 and also giving them time so they fix the early bugs and glichs that come with every game release so i play it clean
or at least cleaner then the release :D

I think the launch was still successful. Despite the bugs, my experience is still amazing!

I'm on the fence but with all these reviews of how great it is I might have to jump in!

A few bugs (no game breakers) but I've noticed that the fixes come fast once they are alerted. Seems like a great game so far, looks like a keeper!

Great game so far not to far into it yet been super busy.

GW2 is absolutely amazing. Although there have been a few bugs so far, it's very near impossible to avoid, and the release has still been remarkably smooth, especially compared to other releases this year. The biggest hang-up so far, imo, is the trading post being disabled while it is fine-tuned, but it's ultimately a minor inconvenience. The economy is so new that I haven't really missed it yet.

Anyone who hasn't played yet, but is into RPG's, should really give it a look. The world is beautiful, the characters are well-crafted, the combat is addictive, and the quests are fresh and enjoyable. Each new event is an experience all its own, and there are hidden treasures and fun side-events that don't show up on your map; dungeon crawling, puzzle solving, and exploration are rewarded just as heavily as questing and slaughtering innocent trolls. Anyone who's ever found games like WoW too restricting or repetitive, but loved the online RPG, will -love- GW2.

The reviews on this game have been amazing and looks even better than the first by far.

BEST MMO EVER

Apart from the Auction House which should be fixed by now(kept running out of space, forced to chuck out lots of stuff instead of selling it) and the lag spikes I get (apparently only Australians have it, yet I never got them during beta), really enjoying it so far. There's been a few bugs, but overall, really smooth launch.
