PC game franchises that are improving and deteriorating

I agree 100% with this article. COD has been a huge let down ever since world at war. Dragon age 2 made me cry because the first one was so good but the second one killed me on the inside. Warcraft is starting to loose people because its old. Everyone knows how to play it and Diablo was just a huge flop. On the other hand the games there are getting better have improved an insane amount and have made the game super fun.

Yeah I want MW to crash and burn.

Well i have to admit i have some hope for BO2 they have improved the engine here and there. And like Treyarch said they would like to improve the game but they aren't alowd to let CoD go under 60fps on consoles.

Reason I dropped the game. It was not there. Dragon Age 1 was the best game I ever played, DA 2 just killed the mood.

ok this is a good survey,but man is it me or whenever something about cod is said on this site everyone goes nuts and starts dissing it or saying how bad it is,its a good game,the engine is a good one that does not need meany fixes,every game they introduced something that other fps didnt have like in blackops were you could make your own icon and put it on your guns,really treyarch is trying to improve but if you change the engine on cod it might be better but it probable is going to get worse,just like if you keep saying that the frostbite engine is bad and if they change that its not bf3 anymore.

p.s skyrim is not a game,its a way of life.

Well with 2 games i would hardly say dragon age is in a downward spiral and considering Mass Effect just ended it would be hard for it not to be.

Yeah this isn't really surprising. I really hate to see Diablo on the downward but that's just how it goes, I really do hope to see some of these games get back to their original status.

All of these changes were inevitable; not a surprise whatsoever. TF2 deserves the spot too.

I seem to agree with what the survey said, even with Diablo being on the downslide after having only been released a few months ago =P I've never played Civilization or TF2 but they look like games I might try in the future anyways....

Glad that Call of Duty is going down the drain, just like Dannyboy said it is all just retextured crap.

Eh mass effect 3 was a good game and the multiplayer is great, just possibly the worst ending ever, well dark souls was bad too :)

i agree with this mostly but, skyrim lost some of the many things i enjoyed in oblivion and morrowind. otherwise it was a fantastic game in it's own right.
