Poll: Are you buying World of Warcraft Cataclysm?

I stopped playing wow after lich... but i was debating restarting my account for this expansion. Was gonna wait about a week to see how it turns out.

Lol the vote is not quite.. well, I cant answer it.
Its not that World of warcraft is old, I play Counter-strike 1.6, so I
am not the one to talk, its:
1st) Not Free to play, sadface.
2nd) I played the private servers and all but it got a little repeating
itself. The PvP system is very exciting and well made but after about
2 weeks I've had enough.

Ive completed my last quest in this game :3

I stopped playing after my warlock hit level 40. I don't find it fun, it just felt like a grind.

With recruit-a-friend I was able to get to 80 within a week (could of been faster if i really tried) and now I will be leveling my warlock to 85 starting tomorrow :D

1. I played the 14 day trial and was almost addicted
2. I hate subscription fees (guild wars ftw!)
3. After my subscription ran out I went and played some other rpg's and fps such as Crysis, Fallout 3, and Oblivion... Then I released how much of my time had been wasted on this MMO.
4. WoW has too much mediocre gameplay to hold my interest for very long anymore

Great game but consumes a lot of time. Subscription fees are lame.

Ya know, this whole Cataclysm thing would be as good a time as any to start, for a fresh-man I mean

Yeah I noted that too, and its actually... like bothersome in the back of my head, but lets just go with... most ACCURATE

To those who never got to the end-game content you never experienced wow... The grind is massive to get there and a new player with no prior experience doesn't really get the feeling of an mmo because theirs few people leveling their first toon... plus it's based off of a what...10 year old engine? The end game is what makes wow....wow... it's thourough challenging and addictive at that point with something to suit different style (pvp or pve their both well done) but back on task....i got out because I made it to the very peak of pve and pvp in BC but when wrath came out i was like....but i finally made it...i spent hundreds of hours getting their and right when i started to finish off my season 4 gear and t6....wrath... i didnt wanna spend another hundred hours so that's a long explanation of why i hate expansions in general...just make another game

Meh, I'm only really still playing because I've invested a ridiculous amount of time in it already. Though I have to admit, Cataclysm is much better than LK and I am definitely looking forward to endgame content and difficult raids / instances.

Ahh I stopped playng this game a long time ago cuz I didnt have time to play
but still cataclysm looks cool

well WoW its not about crazy endgame raiding.u can have a lot of fun if u got like 10 known friends that u can raid and hang out in pubs+beer

WoW, the most hardcore casual game ever created.
I wouldn't even install this pile of crap if it was Free-to-play.
I pity the fools.

I, like you, have not started playing WoW and I do not plan to. However, I leave the possibility out there that if more of my friends stop playing other games to play WoW, I might just have to give it a try...

WoW is old. There are many new generation MMOs out there. The two most notable are Vindictus and Continent of the Ninth. Although i wouldn't put the in straight MMOs, they are more of an Action MMOs. Hack and Slash FTW. Can't wait for them to get in Europe. And the best part is that they are free to play. Yes i have played WoW for few years, around 6 months on retail, rest was on high rates private servers. Its just to slow and painful for me to play on retail. One month to hit the level cap ??? give me a break, and on top of that i have to pay each month ? Notnxbye. I agree Blizz has made great games and WoW is not one of them.

I bought it and quit cause it was boring after getting to 85.

I switched to Starcraft 2, its much more fun and take less time to play and its one off payment.
