No steam for Blizzard Products. I bought a physical copy as well as you could not preorder through Blizzard's digital download service. Also I assumed that since this is the first time ever that Blizzard has launched a tittle digitally that it would be over burdened and slow so I figured a real copy would be faster.


Also you could only get beta codes if you preordered.

Everything Chad said, plus, I don't view Battle.net as a service suite yet so I prefer to have a physical copy rather than an online account.

If StarCraft 2 had been available on Steam, I definitely would have purchased it digitally.

Whats nice though is with Blizzard even though you buy the box you still register the key to the account so basically you got it digital anyways. I know steam does that to with first party titles. I guess with blizzard it's just kinda nice to have the box.

Digital download all the time, unless it's on clearance, only on Direct2Drive, or not online.
