AlienFX Advanced Programming
I haven't yet received my m17x, but I was looking around for AlienFX Advanced Programming tutorials, and couldn't find any. Does anyone have any input? Is it ridiculously easy? Is it impossibly hard? Thoughts?

dont worry whenever you boot up the Alienware command center it will offer to bring up basic and advanced tutorials. anyways the advanced programming is surprisingly simple it should only take about 10 minutes to become familiar with it congrats on your Alienware order btw

Indeed. I got an alienware prior to the release of Command Center. Just remember to back up any precious data :P
To be quite honest I have a couple of AlienFX builds that are very advanced. Multi colored, waves, etc.

very cool man. i just keep mine basic after i realized how much some of the AlienFX effects (pulse, morph) bothered my eyes

I keep mine basic too...pulse looks nice but too many colors and effects can detract from the task at hand...i get distracted too easy i guess
how to adjust in the command center that the left speaker have another color than the right speaker?

yah id be interested in that too! just started tinkering around with this, but yah the pulse is very distracting lol
it sometimes gives me an eye strain if im playing amnesia in the dark and the keyboard flashes colours

You can get different color speakers by editing the .ath file from notepad.
