  4. If you already have a Funcom account, log in and enter the Beta Access Key in the Key Registration section on the bottom left.
  5. If you do not already have a Funcom account click on the “click here” link under New Customer and enter the Key given above.

About the Game

It used to be closed beta because Funcom made a mistake with the keys but now its for the beta weekend only. Anyone who already received a key for closed beta from here will still receive access to it. Official post on the secret world forums in announcements confirms this

Thank you Funcom/Bioware for the mistake, and I am glad I got up early this morning. I have been in the first two public beta weekends and enjoyed the limited content, @12G/13.2G downloaded and redy to explore some more content. Think I am going Iluminati instead of Templar this time.

This is BS! The banner says "Closed Beta" Key Giveaway yet it is for the next OPEN beta weekend! The part that is really lame is that some people were able to get Closed Beta Access because of this and get to keep it!

It was an accident that gave people access to closed beta, they've fixed it now so all anyone gets is the Beta Weekend unless you were lucky enough to get this sooner.

But there's been two beta's. Closed Beta which prolly has been going on for 3 years now.

And..

Weekend Beta which is well for weekends only.

So if this is a Closed beta key it can't be for the weekend only...
Yet they list the dates for the "weekend Beta"

So which is it AlienWare? Is this the current on going closed beta or the weekend (open)beta?


TSW has no 'open beta' stage just closed, which is daily till release
and
weekend beta that anyone can get into due to things like this.
