Borderlands 3 could be performed on more planets
Epic Games at GDC boasted how their Unreal Engine is the most common engine among the hundred best-selling games on Steam last year. Not only that - earnings of games on Unreal Engine are higher than the aggregated earnings of games at all other engines. But the players themselves are not impressed by these results, the most interesting part of the EPIC conference was coming of Gearbox Software team which Borderlands 3 also uses Unreal Engine 4.
Although the head of the company Randy Pitchford stressed that he did not come to show the game but to demonstrate technology which does not necessarily have anything to do with the game, display we still can considered a first insight into the upcoming Borderlands 3. According to what Gearbox showed we can expect God Rays effects in the game, as well as physical rendering the game that will help to make it look realistic alongside with it`s comic style graphics.
The most interesting thing that Pitchford mentioned was that the scenes may have different physical and light properties if the game was located on more different planets. This does not mean that like that will actually be, but it's definitely about something to think about.
