MMO game Ashes of Creation on Kickstarter has collected million dollars in less than two days

It does not happen often, but there are cases where new and unknown studio with a good idea fascinated audience which want to throw money under their feet. Something like that happened with the game Ashes of Creation, MMORPG project from young team Interpid Studios who`s campaign on Kickstarter on the first day went over the required amount of non-small 750 thousand US dollars.

Ashes of Creation is presented as a response to the dominance of the pay-to-win content in the MMO genre. It is an adventure in the fantasy world that starts from scratch by settling new continent. It was the beginning of a world which will inhabit eight races, and between each other share a single economy.

The game world will be subject to randomness, change, and will react to what the players are doing. Developers as an example include the seasons, such as a winter that can take several cycles on a single server, and on the other with the influence of the player perhaps only one cycle.

The success of the Kickstarter campaign has certainly contributed the fact that game developers had a bunch of material to show to interested gamers. People obviously did not mind the early announcement that the game would be looking for a monthly subscription, and it would be a real surprise that in the next 30 days they do not manage to double the amount of money collected without knowing what the bigger amounts mean for game development.

nice hope they will do great work with that money, that could be a potential good game, I am hyped only by this trailer :)

Planetary

That's quite impressive. I'm really hyped by this game. Player-driven economy, node system (town) which depends on the contribution by players. You can be a congressman in your town or just be a small part of town's live. Love the idea.

Interstellar

This game has a lot of potential, hopefully they manage to achieve a fair amount of that.  Definitely one I'll be watching
