John Cygan, the voice of Solidus Snake, died

Last weekend the video game industry lost a prominent actor who lent his voice in titles such as Final Fantasy XV, Mafia 3, Grand Theft Auto V, Halo and Medal of Honor. Actress John Cygan died at age 63 after a long-term cancer fight.

Cygan will stay in memory as a voice of Solidus Snake from Metal Gear Solid 2. In the media, his voice will remain alive in Pixar's successes such as Cars, Wall-E, Up, Toy Story 3, Ice Age and Despicable Me 2.
