Voice chat in the League of Legends still will not be

Earlier on the network, information was diverging that a voice chat could appear in the League of Legends - a feature that Riot Games avoided from the release of the game. It turned out that these were absolutely false rumors written from the hacked account of the former studio employee.

This was written on his Twitter by John Stein himself, on whose behalf Reddit was made the original post. According to him, his account was compromised just to create false posts on the form of the game. At the moment he works as a vice president of marketing for the Immortals team and no longer has a direct relationship with the League of Legends.

My old Riot account was compromised and used to make a fake post on the Boards about Voice Chat. No, it was not me.

Another, still a real employee of Riot Games, Phillip Costigan later added that the studio does not work on the implementation of voice chat and expect it in the near future, too, is not worth it. He also spoke last week about the company's nearest plans for the development of the League of Legends, among which a voice chat was also not indicated.

I'm not really sure whether voice chat would be a good thing or a bad thing anyway, but seems for now we won't find out.
