Paradox Publisher buys Overlord and Age of Wonders developers

Swedish publisher Paradox Interactive announced today the purchase of the studio Triumph, known for such games as Overlord and Age of Wonders.
The press release indicates that the composition of the team will remain the same - including that of the founders of the company. In addition, all current projects will continue to be developed. The publisher notes that the studio has gathered around itself a strong community and even in the composition of Paradox there are hardcore fans of Triumph.
Co-founder of the studio Lennart Sas noted in his statement that other companies came to them with proposals, but they always refused. However, in the case of Paradox - this is not just a business transaction, but something more. The publisher will help the studio grow and retain the stability required for maximum impact - developing some of the best turn-based strategies.
Financial details of the transaction are not reported.
