New: Activate Steam Keys from within your Browser!

Eric_enjoys | 08/31/2017

Until now you needed to have the Steam Client installed to be able to activate a key. But not any longer: Valve listened to us and for a few hours already you now can activate keys from within your Browser.
(The news is so fresh, there isn't even a way to go to the page without the direct link... so if you want to give it a try, you'll find it by clicking the big button above.)

From what I gather (I haven't used it yet), the browser activation brings with it another feature - you get your activation receipt via email automatically (rather than the option to print one, as is the case in the Steam client).

For those of us who like to keep track of our licences, this saves even more time.

I hope they eventually extend the email receipt feature to the Steam client as well.

GG Valve.
