Gaming Forum NeoGAF got silent after the charges against the owner
Gaming forum NeoGAF over a decade is gathering a huge number of players who love video games, but in the past 24 hours its members, as well as random passers, could not comment and/or read about the gaming world because the forum was mostly offline.
It all started when accusations against the site owner, Tyler Malka, for sexually abuse swimmed out on social networks. Namely, one post on Facebook claims that Tyler, better known under the nickname Evilor, sexually hurt the girl while being with her on vacation. This, however, is not the first time that Malka faces charges of sexual harassment, and himself even five years ago in one post at NeoGAF said that he badly treats women.
With the consideration that more and more similar stories are coming to the surface, some NeoGAF administrators and moderators have decided that it is best to break away from Evilor and his site which has led to complete scattering. Additionally, many members began to protest and post messages to those who accused Tyler, but most of these forum posts were deleted, and soon went silent the entire forum.
It's still not clear who pressed the offline button, but without the support of the NeoGAF community, it will not last long. Meanwhile, Tyler Malka is preparing his own side of the story that we'll add to the article.
