Creators of Warframe have canceled the development of their new game

In the middle of the year, the creators of the popular Warframe announced their new project called Keystone. Shortly thereafter they renamed the game to The Amazing Eternals and in the eighth month launched beta testing of the same. The game offered a mixture of heroic shooter from the first person then CCG, or card game.
It seems that this combination has not thrilled the players. Just two months after launching the beta test, Digital Extremes decided to stop the development of the game. As they say, they put it "on a break", but this a nicer way to say that from the whole project there will be nothing.
As the main reason for the cancellation of The Amazing Eternals, the developer lists the poor interest of the players - so small that the matchmaking system did not function at all. Hand to the heart, it's not that they beta have announced on all the bells, and it was unrealistic to expect that people will be hot for a game that they announced three months ago, without any gameplay trailers, streams, etc. Plus that they have changed name in the meantime. In today's visual time this tactic obviously does not work.
If the game ever returns then the developer continues with its development, it will probably be a completely different title - certainly under some other name.
