Marvel Heroes Omega Has Officially Shut Down

After initially being announced to be closed on December 31st, rumors began surfacing last week indicating the end of Marvel Heroes Omega might be sooner than expected. It seems that rumor was well-founded. As of 6PM GMT, 10AM PST, the servers for the game have been closed, all employees with the developer have been laid off and Marvel Heroes is Offline. Comments around the web indicate Gazillon is issuing refunds for all purchases in game, so you may wish to reach out to the support team. 

We're sorry to everyone who lost their jobs, lost their game and lost their investments. We wish we would've got a proper sendoff and knew exactly when to be there to be there when the lights went off. Everyone involved deserved better.
