What region is it for?  Europe?  I tried Germany, France, and Russia but still getting "This event is unfortunately not available in your region."

China

Too much work for something that is supposed to be free.  I have almost 1000 games that are competing for my attention.

Found this on /r/FreeGameFindings a bit ago and redeemed it. Here's some extra information for those trying to redeem it:

Your proxy has to be set to China. The proxy information that worked for me the server 119.101.104.235 , the port is 1080 , and the protocol is SOCKS5 .

For those concerned about the legality of this or the status of their Ubisoft account if they redeem it, a Ubisoft repesentative on /r/Ubisoft named /u/Ubi-Cain has said that there will be no bans for redeeming it, there will just not be any support for you if you are trying to redeem a game from another region. So it's all good!

This. Also I know Microsoft bans for this, I doubt Ubisoft cares that much or that anyone cares about their Uplay account, but still.

Interstellar

Phew! This one was quite tricky but I finally managed to grab it =)
