Hideki Kamiya wants to do a remake of original Devil May Cry game

Kamiya via Twitter, looked back at the original, saying he was convinced that if he worked on the remake of the first Devil May Cry game, would made it the most amazing hack & slash ever, letting in that way Capcom know that he is definitely interested for something like that.

Will Capcom consider Kamiya's proposal, for now it is not known. Meanwhile, Capcom's team led by Hideaki Itsuno is currently working on Devil May Cry V, a direct sequel for the game Devil May Cry 4, which announcement is expected at E3.

Yes they did, but that was a remaster he is talking here about a remake.

in my opinion, developing a new game is much better than remake/remaster and old game

TBH i didn't like DMC1, the DMC3 was the best for me, DMC4 was good also
