Euro Truck Simulator 2 announced road maintenance on autobahn

Euro Truck Simulator 2 came out long before was forged term of the game as service, and in the meantime it got more updates than some games that hide behind that term. In any case - it lasted longer than most other games. and SCS Software does not intend to stop. They are already developing a new expansion that will focus on the Baltics, but they work in parallel with free upgrades coming in version 1.32.

As part of this version, developers are "working on refreshing base game’s map", which means Germany. As this is one of the largest maps in the game, overhaul of this region will start with the next update, and will be split across multiple updates. After update, German roads and the environment will be altered with new vegetation, facilities and textures.

As you can see in the following picture, it is to be expected that the game after this update becomes more demanding, so it would not be bad to ask your uncle from Germany for a PC upgrade.
