Hitman 2 bringing easier security cameras detection

18 years ago, the world was not so dependent on technology as it is today, so in the first Hitman we could believe in a fantasy with the minimum security measures regarding camera surveillance. In the recent Hitman games, security cameras have become one of the biggest opponents of Agent 47. Unlike human obstacles, cameras can not be fooled by disguising, and it's harder to spot them.

However, in Hitman 2, Agent 47 will have a good looking ability to outsmart security cameras. Namely, the player will be able to see where a camera covers a grid of light projected on the ground.

"So this is one of the new features we’ve added to the game to further communicate to the player where they will be spotted, if they have not yet disabled the location’s security grid. Some minor changes might still occur, but so far, we’re loving this mechanic." - explained an IO Interactive spokesperson.
