Call of Duty: WW2 Summer Event, July 31- August 28

The Days of Summer event will run through August 28th. It will add new experiences and collectibles for Call of Duty: WW2, like game modes, weapon, and cosmetic items. There will even be a new community challenge, along with some new enemy types in the Zombies mode.
An interesting addition will be the Sandbox mode. Players will be shrunk down to the size of toys and fight on a sandy beach map.

A new aerial combat mode will make its way to the game, as well, called Dogfighting. Plane-to-plane combat was originally introduced to the game with The War Machine DLC pack, but this new mode will open it up to all players, even those who didn’t purchase that DLC. Nazi Zombies will see Sizzlers and Drowned Zombies as added enemy types.
The community challenge will have five tiers to complete, each centered around a specific division. Completing the tiers will unlock special rewards like a new hat or a sawed-off shotgun variant. The new weapons making their way to the game are the French SMG the Ribeyrolles, a Soviet rifle called the Automaton, and the 3-Line Rifle that is perfect for sniping.
The new content will include special Master Prestige rewards like new uniforms for hitting certain levels. There will also be a bunch of customization items players can earn, like camos and weapon charms. The new content isn’t the only thing players can look forward to, though. While no dates were given, Activision did state there will be times during the Days of Summer event that players would be able to earn Double XP.
Call of Duty: WW2 is currently available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
