Fortnite Season 8 will be pirate-themed, judging by latest teaser

"X Marks The Spot, treasure abound. Loot that has been lost, can always be found," reads the latest teaser for Fortnite's upcoming Season 8, which Epic Games tweeted alongside a picture of a pirate hook, above. It looks like James's prediction that Season 8, which starts in four days, will be water-themed is correct.

The teaser suggests some kind of treasure hunt—I'm thinking that players will have to search for underwater chests that contain rare goodies. Perhaps the locations of these chests could change every round, with players given a new treasure map in the battle bus. Whatever it is, I'm keen on the idea of a pirate-themed battle royale.
