PS5 Details Revealed

markolivereverett | 04/16/2019

In an exclusive interview with Wired Magazine, Sony revealed some details about their next console system. While they didn't give any indication of a release date, except to say that it won't be this year, they did give a surprising amount of information about the upcoming system.

Highlights are that it will have 8k resolution capabilities, it will be backwards compatible (with a disc drive too), and will have an SSD Drive. Probably most notable of the new features are the ones that come from it's AMD chip, which will allow it to have ray tracing and 3D audio, meaning it'll be the first big leap in audio since the PS3.

3D Sound...

What features are you pumped about and how much do you think this will need to retail for in order for it to be a compelling alternative to PC gaming?

Another Playstation generation I'm gonna skip, just like PS3 and PS4... Microsoft is doing much better with gamepass and stuff, PS4 didin't got games at launch, and when it got me interested with it's exclusives, gamepass was attracting me more

Personally, I'm sticking with PC. The last console I had was the original wii....

Yeah, I mentioned that above. That will definitely be great, so it'll still probably be a more affordable way to get at a high PC experience I guess.
