Asus ROG Strix XG17 - the world's first portable monitor with a refresh rate of 240 Hz
Portable monitors with USB connection can no longer be called a novelty, but this year ASUS has brought something new to Computex: the world's first portable game monitor with a refresh rate of 240 Hz. This is a ROG Strix XG17 model with a 17.3-inch IPS panel and a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
In fact, this is the same matte panel with a response time of 3 ms, which can be found in ASUS Strix Scar III and Hero III laptops. The monitor is equipped with built-in stereo speakers, magnetic hinged cover and built-in battery. At a maximum frequency of 240 Hz without recharging the monitor runs for three hours. It supports Quick Charge 3.0 and USB Power Delivery.
To connect to the source has inputs micro-HDMI and USB-C (DisplayPort).
At the same time, a 15.6-inch ZenScreen Touch model is shown with a touchscreen that can operate for up to four hours without recharging.
