For this purpose, the responsible development studio inXile Entertainment recently made a somewhat more detailed statement for the first time. More specifically, it was game director Tim Campbell, who provided the answer to an appropriate question in an interview with WCCFtech magazine.

"Yes, we're planning about 50 hours, which would be about the same length as Wasteland 2. However, these things are extremely difficult to assess, and in a game where you can make so many decisions, there are different paths open to you There are fewer and fewer playing styles, and there are always longer ways to play the game, so we're aiming for the middle. "

The studio founder Brian Fargo added in the conversation that the season of Wasteland 3 will eventually be even slightly longer than the direct predecessor. However, he did not want to specify more precisely, because in this regard could change a lot in the next few months. It is quite possible that the developers add or shorten some content in the remaining time. The release of the role-play is currently planned for the spring of 2019, but a specific date is not fixed yet.
