this appears to be a free 24 hour trial per fleet, not "free ships"

This game is such a scam...literally has been in Alpha longer than many MMO's have been on the market. 

A scam with hundreds of things playable in-game with friends.For those who'd like to give it a try, go ahead, and don't hesitate to ask questions and help here, or in-game.

Star Citizen is the most ambitious project of space simulation ever, and already offers a marvelous experience to thousands of players all around the world.

Next update will bring persistence and they'll stop wiping everything at each patch, which means we'll all be able to farm credits and buy weapons, armors and vehicles in-game that will remain on our accounts, no matter what.

The life on SC is gonna begin, and those who want to join the party are most welcome !
