Halo 1: Combat Evolved Anniversary edition released!
Halo CEA (Combat Evolved Anniversary) released today on Steam. Can almost be considered a remake considering the huge jump in graphics available in this release versus previous PC releases of the game (Also has a toggle to show the classic graphics). Supports vastly improved graphics, widescreen, 4k, 60+ FPS, AA, changeable FOV, multiplayer, Steam achievements and more.
Looks like a really high quality port. Not perfect as many users during the beta "flight" reported some issues that weren't all fixed yet, but the series is actively being worked on to be perfected on PC.
You can purchase it by itself for $10 USD, or as part of the Master Chief Collection. The collection will eventually have all 7 Halo games, but currently only CEA and Halo: Reach are available to play today.
