My steam quests completed automatically after I started them without me even playing the games for 1 second and as such, I didn't have the steam quests artifact equipped yet, making me lose 30 ARP.

How is this even possible?

Happened to me once which is why I never start them until I have it equipped.

Yeah, that happened to me once as well way back when we were still using the forums, which is why I also don't start it until I have my Steam Quest artifacts equipped

The Control Center only shows the usual number of ARP from the quest description. So you have to check "My ARP Progress" to see the actual number of ARP you have received.
