Steam Next Fest encourages publishers/devs to put out game demos which is great, but why on Earth would anyone remove the demos after Next Fest is over??

Usually developers participate in the SNF closest to their release date. Typically, this means about about 2 weeks to 3 months to fix all the bugs discovered during SNF then focus on the last push of marketing before the full release.

I haven't checked that fest out just yet... but I also find it very annoying when devs pull out demos. I get it that sometimes a demo might become quite outdated, but still... it's nice to be able to try a game before we pull the trigger..
