New Game by creators of Max Payne wears code name P7
Financial Report of the Finnish studio Remedy Entertainment revealed that the creators of Max Payne, Alan Wake and Quantum Break are working on a new project. According to the references in the report, the code name of the project is "P7", and it seems that this is the sixth new IP of the company that has so far made only one extension and one remaster.
From Remedy have quickly extinguished hopes that the "P7" is a continuation of Alan Wake. As they say, the possibility that one day we see Alan Wake 2 were clear - return is not excluded, but for now is not in the plan. As for Max Payne, the situation is also known - license of this series holds Rockstar Games so that Remedy does not decide what will happen with those series.
About P7 for now we know only two things. The first - will be released for multiple platforms, which probably includes the PlayStation (4). The second - for the game we should not wait five years because Remedy repeatedly pointed out that they changed the work system and that their future goal is to release games with faster pace.
In addition to the mysterious P7 project Remedy parallel is working on the game Crossfire 2, sequel shooter that was very popular on the Asian market. That project, however, they are not making alone but in partnership with the Korean company Smilegate.
