Try horror Silent Hills PT in a free PC version
A standalone trailer called P.T. (short for Playable Teaser) for back then current Konami project called Silent Hills has in a very short time in 2014 on the Playstation Store left a very positive impression on the players. After ending collaboration with the executive producer of the project, Hideo Kojima, Konami removed the game from the Playstation store and made it inaccessible to download, creating a real little cult. Even for a while have been sold an expensive PS4 consoles which still had PT installed on their disks, since it was no longer possible to get it.
As if he had heard the wailing of gamers around the world desirous of a horror experience similar to the one offered by PT, the moderator under the nickname Qimsar nearly four years later decided to make his own version of this PC game and share it with other players.
I'm remaking PT on PC. Many others have begun trying to make their own ports, but as far as I can tell, I'm the only person who is still working on it, and I'm the only one who will finish.
Wrote Qimsar in one of his announcements on Reddit last week and attached the video material as proof.
He added that he was afraid that Konami would not ask him to quit the project because the game would consist almost exclusively of the models and objects present in the original.
"I'll see if I can personally upload the game to each individual person who wants it," he added.
It seems that this will not be necessary, and Qimsar has at least for now managed to escape Konami's team of lawyers. Couple of days ago, he wrote on Reddit that he completed uploading his version to servers so the game is now available for download and to try.
Have you tried it?
